Consultation
This is the first important step for a new chiropractic patient. Here, health history is recorded and evaluated. The consultation indicates for you and Dr. Hamilton what options can or should be explored. At this time a mutual decision is made to commence with examination.
Examination
Your examination will include spinal, neurological, and orthopedic testing, as well as computerized muscle strength testing. A surface EMG will be evaluated to determine levels of muscular weakness.
X-rays
A spinal x-ray is like a life-size blueprint of your spine. Your films will be evaluated for structural and overall spinal alignment. All misalignments (subluxations) are located and a plan to eliminate them is developed.
Report of Findings
Dr. Hamilton will explain and discuss with you all exam results. With a thorough understanding of your test results, Dr. Hamilton will then recommend a treatment plan. This plan will be designed to correct your spinal condition as quickly and affordably as possible. Once he has made his recommendations, YOU will be able to decide the type and length of care that best suits your personal needs.
Adjustment
Dr. Hamilton will tailor his treatment to each patient based on his or her needs. Any procedure will be discussed with you before the start of treatment.
